Hi all, so now we know the two finalists for this Sundays World Cup Final it seemed like a little update might be in order!
So, of our 98 entrants...56 people correctly guessed one of the finalists earning themselves 15 points but only seven people correctly guessed both finalists earning themselves 50 points! Well done to Brendan Deacy, James Murphy, Katie Bannon, Neil Porter, John Walsh, Patrick Gleeson and Richard Heald.
Out at the top of leader board as it currently stands on 110 points are James Murphy, Katie Bannon, Patrick Gleeson, and Richard Heald. A further 3 people are on 90 or 100 pts - so its close at the top!
However, there are still lots of points to be played for with 50 pts awarded for correctly predicting the World Cup Winner of either France or Argentina.
There are 25 pts available for correctly predicting the tournament top goal scorer. Mbappe and Messi are currently topping the charts on 5 goals and 36 entrants have selected one of those players. Though its possible that maybe Giroud or Alvarez could sneak ahead.
Finally, the wild card of predicting the correct total number of goals scored in the tournament could earn you 100 pts. So far, with 2 games still to be played there have been 163 goals scored. There are still 36 people with 164 goals or more selected so surely at least one person will pick up the bumper 100 pts.
All will be revealed next Monday following the final - £500 in the Prize pot - Good Luck everyone!
