Our youth teams were all out training again this Saturday, following our return last week after the winter break. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the glorious sunshine joined us for the afternoon whilst the children, coaches and parents continued to blow off the GAA cobwebs!
All age groups were present at Turn Moss which was great to see, aging from 4 up to 17 years old, having great fun with friends whilst developing their skills. We had plenty of newcomers too and that was great to see.
Lancashire County Board are just finalising dates & venues for some Youth Blitzes in the coming months that we will work towards. We now also know that the Northern GAAmes will be taking place in Manchester on Sat 14th May, which will no doubt be a great festival of youth gaelic games on our door step, something else we as a club can work towards.
If you are interested in getting your child (Boys & Girls, ages 4 -17) involved with St Lawrence's and becoming part of a family friendly club then please get in touch via the usual social media channels. No experience necessary, all abilities welcome.
