Our men's team return to competitive action this week in the Lancashire Junior League 2020.
Following the long layoff due to the COVID-19 restrictions the lads face Wolfe Tones in the first round of the league at Turn Moss, Sunday 27th September, throw-in at 10:30am.
In order to best help stay within the GAA and local protocols for a return to organised outdoor team sports, Lancashire County Board have worked hard to compile a condensed fixture list which will see each club play a minimum of 6 matches over the next 7 Sunday's.
To help with COVID restrictions each club will be hosting a round of 3 fixtures with staggered throw-in times to allow a reduced element of mixing between different clubs and supporters.
On Sunday, we also welcome St. Brendan's and St. Peter's whos league clash will follow our game at 12 noon and then Oisin's and John Mitchells will do battle at 13.15 also at Turn Moss.
As per current guidelines, showers/changing rooms will not be in use.
It should be an exciting day and we remind all players, coaches and supporters to make use of the wide open spaces around all sides of the pitch and to remain socially distanced and only within your own household/bubble group.
